The Research and Technology Transfer Service is responsible for the administrative management of research and doctoral schools and for the application of research.

Its main responsibilities include:

  • Doctoral studies: welcoming PhD students and providing them with information, PhD and individual monitoring committee registrations, structuring training modules, arranging and preparing PhD vivas, issuing degree certificates, assignments.
  • Application, design and implementation of partner research projects: monitoring and information for calls for projects (H2020, FEDER, INTERREG, national research agency, region, etc.), help in putting together projects, negotiating and drafting research contracts with institutional and industrial partners, recruiting research staff, intellectual property and technology transfer, financial management of research contracts, employment contracts based on agreements, industrial protection and technology transfer, support for setting up companies in coordination with the research units.
  • Financial research supervision: management of the research budgetary accountability centre, financial supervision of agreements and research projects, preparation of calls for funding.
