For around 20 years, the University of Perpignan Via Domitia’s Biosensors–Analyses–Environment (BAE) team (previously IMAGES EA 4218) has been recognised for its expertise in developing innovative analysis tools for the agri-foods sector and the environment. Its multidisciplinary team is made up of chemists and biologists who have acquired expertise in developing biosensors based on various biological receptors (enzymes, antibodies, organelles, etc.) and biomimetic receptors (aptamers, molecularly imprinted polymers, etc.), involving electrochemical and optical detection methods.
